You are a geek liaison, which means you go both ways. You can hang out with normal people or you can hang out with geeks which means you often have geeks as friends and/or have a job where you have to mediate between geeks and normal people. This is an important role and one of which you should be proud. In fact, you can make a good deal of money as a translator.

Awesome Underground Radio! (on the web!)
An old friend had been raving to me about a webradio service and the quality of their classic radio feed. I finally plugged it in the browser, popped on the headphones and … wow. Classic underground Radio …
Old Stooges, MC5, Steppenwolf (Rock me, baby) Quicksilver Messenger Service (Mona), TRex (the motivator), Tull (from Standup) … these are not the usual Clear Channel “Classic Rock” hits – this is a wonderfully varied feed of hits and lessers … Real rock radio!! Thank you Steven!

When you get to the main web page, look on the top left side for the Click to Listen button. Click it and you’ll get a small popup window with two columns.
The left is 3WK Undergound – which is indie music feed. The right column is
3WK Classic underground radio. Anyway, you’ll be asked what player you use – Ms-Player or Real Audio. From there the music just streams and what a line-up they have!
Oh – it also seems to get through our firewall, router, WebSense and all those filters at work!
