The Pond - Building the Creek and Waterfalls!

At the left side it'll make a slight turn, and then spill over some flat rocks and spill into the pond - I have a vision of it looking like the spillway at an old mill

A view from the other end of the mound, showing the rock border and some of the plants.

There is a lot of work left to do - I did rough in upper pond - and rough-cut the black vinyl pond liner - but I want to fine tune the pond depth and shape, then bury the black liner with dirt and rocks. I have a concrete downspout splash guard for the spill way right now, but I want to find just the right stone shape for the spillway. I put the pump into place but I have to bury the hose and create another waterfall that will splash over rocks to fill the upper pond.

I put the pump into place and I cut and used a 5/8 garden hose for the water, instead of the thin black hose that came in the kit - it collapsed and restricted the water flow. I buried the hose and created another waterfall that splashes over rocks and makes a different sound as it splashes into the upper pond.

There is still a lot to do. check out the NEW page 4
