Lauren Hutton (from the early Show)

from the Media Research Center MRC analyst Brian Boyd caught Hutton’s comments made during an 8:30am half hour segment with Early Show quad-host Renee Syler to promote Hutton’s “Good Stuff” line.

Several minutes into the May 1 interview Syler asked Hutton if enough attention is being paid to woman as we age?

Hutton replied: “I’m saying look your best and then you start feeling your best and you’ll say anything. And we need women saying everything now-”
Syler: “Is it discouraging though-”
Hutton: “-because we got a ten and a half million square mile hole in the sky and the big nuke is the sun. That’s the big nuke. That’s what the boys better watch out for.”
Rene Syler: “That’s a whole other point about skin protection, but let me ask you this-”
Hutton: “No, women in government.”
Syler: “I thought you were talking about ozone-”
Hutton: “Girls cleaning the house, the earth.”
Syler: “-ozone and protecting your skin with sunscreen?”
Hutton: “Governments everywhere are men and it is ancient and insane and shameful.”
Syler: “But let me-”
Hutton: “We’ve got to have half and half. That’s how God made us, otherwise there’s only one of us and probably us. But God knows we wouldn’t have come up with bridges or airplanes or lots of stuff. You know, boys have great vision and they’re fun in bed. But, so there’s certain, fine things for them. It’s true. I’ve been both places. I prefer men.”
Syler: “I knew this was going to be an interesting interview. But listen, please, let me just ask you one more question…”
