The CLASSIC Logo - not that new one

The 500 Twins

There are 3 basic models in "late model" Triumph 500 twins.
There is the Tiger 500 - a single carb street sport bike.
The Trophy 500 is a single carb street-scrambler model
     - with "up pipes" and lower overall gearing.
The Daytona model arrived in 1970 - its a twin carb street sport bike
     - a sort of smaller-bore version of the Bonneville.
In 1973-74, Triumph release the Trophy Trail -
a 500 twin scrambler styled after the BSA Victor ...

Though production of 750 twins continued into the early 80s,
500 twins were not built after 1974.
