The Web Gal: The cats' own page

In January 2003, a friend from church told us about a pair of cats he'd gotten from Rescue Night at his local pet store. They had been a pair and he wanted to keep them together - a boy and a girl cat. He said they were 2 year old Himalayans, declawed, and fixed, and had all their shots.

We talked it over and were real interested, but worried about Emma's asthema - it wouldn't be right to get the cats and have to give them up again if she couldn't breathe around them.

We told Daniel about our worries and asked him if we could have them for a two week trial, just to be sure Emma could breathe ok.

Well - we went to Daniel's and visited them and when it seemed Emma wasn't getting stuffed up and weepy, we brought them home!

Daniel had names for them, but ... we found our own names ... The girl cat is a very elegant Seal Point (black face, stockings and tail), she has a very prancy walk so we decided she must be a Diva ... and as she was a Himalayan cat .. her name is "Dolly Lama Diva"

The boy cat is a Blue Point - at first we thought he looked like Winston Churchill, but then decided he was a ringer for Teddy Roosevelt - I've been calling him Teddy-boy (like the McCartney song)

They are settling in just fine, and have chosen their owners already ...
Dolly seems to favor me, Teddy favors Emma.
